Pluris is pleased to present this update on the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (“FDEP”) approved TTHM treatment using Chlorine Dioxide as the primary disinfectant for drinking water in Wedgefield. In the most recent FDEP compliance testing, TTHM continues to be undetected in drinking water samples.
Presented in the following table are the results of TTHM testing from March, 2016, when Chlorine Dioxide was first introduced and continuing with the latest analytical laboratory results, on December 21, 2017.
TTHM FDEP Compliance Test Results in Micrograms per Liter (μg/l)
(EPA Stage II TTHM Limit is 80 μg/l)

Note: yellow highlighted results represent the latest FDEP mandated quarterly compliance testing
The current Federal Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) Stage II limit for TTHM is 80 micrograms per liter (μg/l). Since the introduction of Chlorine Dioxide in March, 2016, all TTHM results have been below the EPA limit. FDEP’s most recent mandated compliance testing on December 21, 2017 reported TTHM as being non-detected at the two compliance test sites for the third (3rd) quarter in a row.
