Pluris recently awarded two outstanding high school students with $1,000 scholarships each to begin their college educations this Fall. Yulissa Balsamo who serves as the SAT Scholarship Coordinator at Dixon High School is seen in the above photograph on the left. To the right is Emily Cassidy who plans on majoring in Biology alongside Tyler Duff who plans to major in Engineering.
Ms. Balsamo, who herself graduated from Dixon High School in 2012, also serves as AIG Coordinator, the JV Softball Coach and the 12th Grade School Counselor at Dixon. When asked by Pluris’ Director of Customer Care, Beverly Yopp as to the two recipients, Ms. Balsamo said that both students represent the High School’s Motto of “Love, Serve, Care”, and added as in her own case, “Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog”…
Each year High Schools in Pluris’ service areas are encouraged to contact Beverly with candidates for scholarships in engineering and science related fields.
