All Florida Customers - Hurricane Ian Announcement

September 2022

Although the final path of Hurricane Ian is not yet known, all reporting agencies believe the Central Florida area will be affected. One of the primary concerns associated with the hurricane is that of power loss by the electric companies, flooding due to the expected amount of rain anticipated from the storm and water main breaks from high winds affecting trees and structures. Pluris, in an effort to reduce the potential for a potential loss of electrical power, flooding, and water main breaks is preparing by utilizing electrical power generators, pumping equipment and a stock of water main repair parts.

Customers attempting to reach the Pluris Customer Care office directly before Ian’s impact and for a short period of time after may temporarily experience a delay in receiving a direct response. Pluris respectfully requests your patience during this period. The Pluris Customer Care office will respond to your concern as quickly as possible. After hour service will be available during the Call Center normal closure times and calls will be forwarded to regional utility offices in all states.

Pluris field crews will be in neighborhoods working around the clock to restore normal service as soon as it safe to do so.

We wish all of our customers directly impacted the best through the hurricane recovery process and continue to encourage customers to follow local, state, and federal emergency safety recommendations.

If any customer has a question or need, please contact our customer care center at 888.758.7471 or if you see our crews in your neighborhood, feel free to contact them in the field for assistance.
