MBR Treatment Plant Walls being constructed prior to backfilling of soils around the 15 feet deep excavation
Soil backfilled around completed MBR treatment plant walls allowing only 4 feet extending above the ground surface
Pluris Webb Creek, LLC has passed the 50% completion mark on its new MBR wastewater treatment facility in Hubert, North Carolina. The new MBR plant will replace a failing 40 year old plant that had nearly 500 violations issued by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (“NCDEQ”) since 1995 and poses threats to the environment as well as human health risks. The new plant will be Pluris’ third MBR facility in North Carolina and presently planned to begin operations in June, 2020.
The NCDEQ has continually expressed its support of Pluris’ advanced MBR wastewater treatment in protecting the environment. Former Senior Environmental Engineer with NCDEQ Jim Bushardt, PE stated,
“Pluris’ MBR treatment facilities represent the highest level of wastewater treatment in the state of North Carolina”.
